Ecuador was everything we imagined and more. What an amazing country…our first visit to South America did not disappoint and we cannot wait to return to our newly adopted home. Spending Christmas in Latin America was a really neat experience…the locals spared no expense for their elaborate costumes in the annual Christmas Day parade. We were lucky enough to spend the holidays with family and friends who shared our experiences in beautiful Cuenca.
We are even more motivated to leave the Middle East after our short trip to South America, and are keen on exploring more of South and Central America after our initial experience there. So this will be our last few months in this part of the world for a bit. Here’s to counting down the months! Only 12 more to go…
